Ingredients

  • stir-fried ground pork
  • spicy bean paste
  • light soy sauce
  • dark soy sauce
  • minced garlic
  • sugar
  • noodles
  • napa cabbage

Procedures

  1. cut napa cabbage to around 1-inch pieces
  2. boil water, and cook noodles according to package details
  3. remove noodles, and use the same water to cook napa cabbage
  4. heat oil in pan until hot, drop spicy bean paste and stir fry until fragrant
  5. drop stir-fried ground pork, stir fry until crispy
  6. add light soy sauce for flavour, dark soy sauce for colour
  7. turn off heat
  8. add minced garlic and sugar to taste, stir fry until garlic is fragrant
  9. top the noodles with the ground pork mixture and napa cabbage
  10. season noodles with soy sauce to taste

Notes

  • sub the napa cabbage for any easily-boiled green vegetables, like bok choy or yu choy
  • you’ll know when the ground pork is crispy when there’s no more water vapour coming out, and when the pork starts jumping out at you
