Procedures
- cut napa cabbage to around 1-inch pieces
- boil water, and cook noodles according to package details
- remove noodles, and use the same water to cook napa cabbage
- heat oil in pan until hot, drop spicy bean paste and stir fry until fragrant
- drop stir-fried ground pork, stir fry until crispy
- add light soy sauce for flavour, dark soy sauce for colour
- turn off heat
- add minced garlic and sugar to taste, stir fry until garlic is fragrant
- top the noodles with the ground pork mixture and napa cabbage
- season noodles with soy sauce to taste
Notes
- sub the napa cabbage for any easily-boiled green vegetables, like bok choy or yu choy
- you’ll know when the ground pork is crispy when there’s no more water vapour coming out, and when the pork starts jumping out at you
